Our instructor, Shelley, has been making them so many ways -- using quilted cotton, vinyl, jelly vinyl, and even using the cast-offs from the pouch to make a second bag. Our Camp Sew Fun quilting class is sure to be just that -- SEW FUN!!! Suzanne & Kris will be leading CAMP SEW FUN to make sure everyone gets plenty of help and instruction in our beautiful upstairs Sunset room. Sign up for 3 days of sewing (and fun!) where you will be able to make an awesome 65" x 76" quilt top just for you! This summer we will be making the Peanut Butter Quilt by Then Came June. By the end of class, you will be able to make this quilt of your very own!

Do YOU want to learn how to quilt? Our Beginning Piecing Class is the perfect place to start! Meet Suzanne Jackman and Lynette Christensen at Corn Wagon Too, where they will teach you everything you need to know to select coordinating fabrics, measure and cut accurately, piece blocks like a pro, and finish a quilt top. During this course you will make the beautiful Garden Stars Sampler quilt that finishes at 51" x 66" and is full of the techniques you'll need in almost any other quilt pattern -- sign up and learn to piece today!

Afraid of piecing curves? Not anymore! The Classic Curves Ruler by Color Girl Quilts offers an easy method for cutting an piecing curves! Practice this technique while making large scale blocks with modern style. We will discuss and use controlled improv piecing which will allow some room for imperfection as we learn. The glue baste method for aligning and sewing curves will be demonstrated as well as traditional pinning. You'll come away with lots of new skills and a block or two for beginning your own Classic Curves improv quilt.

Suzanne and Lynette are back with a one-day Piecing Club class! During this fun Sewing Day, you will learn to piece Suzanne's "Sunny" pattern -- a super fun pattern with a lot of visual punch. You'll learn an interesting and accurate new technique for making HSTs and have so much fun sewing with these two! Lunch is included.

This delightful weekly club is for anyone who would like to work on a hand stitching project while learning new hand stitching skills. We will learn a-stitch-a-week! This is a great opportunity to finish our own projects and relax with a fun gathering of sewing friends every Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. - Noon. No fee to attend. Simply come and join us at the Schoolhouse!

Do you love rug hooking like we do? Come to our once-a-month rug hooking day! No need to sign up, it's just a fun get-together every third Tuesday, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. with Marianne Michaels and more wool-loving friends. Previous rug hooking experience is required; this is not an instructional class.

Every Wednesday (except holidays or when notified) from 10 am to 4:00 pm, put yourself in Time Out at the Wagon in our NEW School House located directly behind the quilt shop! At times we all need time out from housework, phone calls, and everyday responsibilities. Come to "Time Out at the Wagon" and do just that. This a free sewing time where you can work on any project you want! Marsha is looking forward to being in Time Out and hopes lots of you will join her.

This is a fun, creative group for quilters interested in making friends in the quilting community! We do show-and-tells, challenges, work on UFOs, contribute to community charity projects, and exchange swaps throughout the year. We'd love to have you!

Second Wednesday this year will be so much fun! We will be making the Kona 365 Calendar block-of-the-month sampler quilt by Robert Kaufman. Each block uses different Kona Solids to make a vibrant, dynamic quilt that finishes at 80" x 80". By the end of this project you will have used all 365 Kona Cotton colors over the course of 365 days! As part of this program you'll receive an awesome Kona Solids calendar where each day features a different Kona color and each month features a free Kona Cotton pattern!

Where RETRO meets MOD; SEWBOTS is a club geared toward modern quilts with throwback style. We will dial in on 3 quilt projects and meet for an atomically powered sew day once a month, January through December 2024 at the Schoolhouse! Join for 6 months or all 12 depending on the projects you are interested in. SEWBOTS are an intermediate group of modern sewists ready to accelerate through projects that are anything but obsolete! Monthly demo will begin at 10 am then we will sew the day away together at the Schoolhouse. Enjoy sewing with a network of friends who appreciate nostalgia as we rewind each month for a flash of the past and fast-forward with the most up-to-date quilting techniques.

S.A.B.L.E. stands for Stash Accumulated Beyond Life Expectancy. It's real. We know from experience and we want to help you out! We are hosting a FALL S.A.B.L.E. SALE in our Corn Wagon Too parking lot! Rent a parking stall for $25 and set up shop 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. with fabric, patterns, kits, notions -- anything quilting related that you're willing to part with. You set your own prices and manage your own transactions for your own De-stash Sale! You can even get a group of friends who are also affected by S.A.B.L.E. syndrome and share a space! We'll get the word out! You bring the goods!

Are you a "Sew-It-All?" We want all of our Sew-It-All friends to join us as we Sew-It-All Weekend! Your registration fee includes lunch both days so you can sew non-stop at our retreat center. You will also receive a Sew-It-All pass good for exclusive discounts at the shop during the event! Bring ANY sewing project that needs finishing and we will be there to lend advice and help you trouble shoot. With two whole days dedicated to finishing projects you really can be a Sew-It-All!

Art to Heart has some of the cutest holiday designs -- and Natalie Smith just fell in love with this darling Santa quilt the minute it came out! This sew-along class will be the first Thursday of almost every month of 2024, with handouts and pdf files with tips and tricks all along the way. Finishing at 72" x 72", this throw will be perfect for holiday snuggling!

For this year's fun 2024 Saturday Sampler, Natalie Smith has designed an original mystery quilt in a 10-month program that finishes at about 68" x 78". We can't show you what the finished quilt will look like, but we can share the color palette and one 15" block. With a variety of blocks -- including some you've definitely never pieced before! -- and a unique setting, this sampler block-of-the-month will be so much fun! We'd love you to come and play in the garden with us this year!
