We are excited to once again join forces with Amy McClellan of Under The Garden Moon to bring her Saturday Sampler to Corn Wagon Quilt Co! Click the heading or photo to see pictures of each month's blocks as they are revealed. Amy has designed an original mystery quilt pattern for our shop as part of a 12 month program. We can't show you what the finished quilt will look like but we can share the fabric palette we have worked together to coordinate. We can also tell you the finished quilt includes several different blocks, a handful of which include applique, so like Amy's past Saturday Samplers, this quilt will be a skill building program where you will be introduced to tools, products and techniques. You will learn LOTS! You will be challenged! You will practice skills that may be new to you! You will have fun! One of our great Corn Wagon instructors will teach monthly block demos with an occasional spotlight feature from Amy! THIS BOM IS SOLD OUT.

100 years ago, on August 18, 1920, the 19th amendment of the Constitution of the United States was ratified, giving women the right to vote. Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Lucy Stone and many other courageous crusaders worked tirelessly to make it possible. We owe them so much! This tribute quilt acknowledges their efforts, their work and their sacrifice. Each of the six different blocks in the quilt point to the contribution of just one or two women who were active in the suffrage movement. Come and learn who they were and what they did in this block of the month club! We're calling it Suffragette Saturday and we invite you to join this lecture and demonstration every 4th Saturday beginning in January for six months. In the lecture you will learn the stories of these great women. In the demonstration you will learn how to construct the blocks. Then, on Tuesday, August 18th, celebrate the 100th anniversary of the women's right to vote at a special trunk-show and sewing night! This option is available for those who would like to choose their own fabrics to make the quilt. Kits are NOT included in this fee.
