Learn everything you need to know to start piecing quilts in this four part class! We will cover fabric selection, preparation, supplies and cutting in our first class then focus on piecing a complete baby quilt! Our final class will be a finishing follow-up where you will learn about finishing details such as batting types, quilting options and binding. We will be making a Baby Bear Paw Quilt designed by Jeni Baker. Purchase a kit here at the shop or select your own fabrics.

With spinning petals, the Black-Eyed Susan Quilt has a happy, nostalgic feel to it. It can be made scrappy, as in the shop sample, or as a traditional Daisy or a true Black-Eyed Susan! Simple techniques such as cutting, piecing, using and sewing on fusible interfacing, and simple machine applique will be taught as you piece this 61" x 77" quilt top.

The Boundless Carryall does just that! It's a generously sized bag that holds A LOT with pockets on the front, sides and back to carry all your trinkets. That fabric you have been holding onto for a special project? This is it! This is a great chance to use cork fabric to add strength and interest. The possibilities of this bag truly know no bounds.

This perfectly imperfect technique for applique and thread embellishment is so freeing! Use your sewing machine to draw outlines and add details to your fabric creations giving them a truly one-of-a-kind look. In this class you will make a simple pin cushion and add whimsical details using the Sew Illustrated book by Minki Kim as your guide. Once you get started, you won't want to stop!

Take a walk with us through Granny's Chic Garden. With floral applique blooms featuring Lori Holt's signature style and newest fabric collection, the Granny's Garden quilt is a classic in the making! Now's your chance to reserve a kit and a seat in the club! We will start Lori's Sew Along two weeks after she does in September so we can go at our own pace and enjoy the journey. Come every other Monday and spend several hours sewing with friends working on this pretty 76" x 86" applique project.

The Great Granny block is friendly to all quilter's with a twist on a traditional quilt block. Designed by Lori Holt, this distinctively nostalgic 72" x 85" quilt can be found in her book, Great Granny Squared. No fussy cutting - - anyone can master the making of this block! Follow Lori's fat quarter cutting instructions and come to class ready to sew.

This delightful weekly club is for anyone who would like to work on a hand stitching project while learning new hand stitching skills. We will learn a-stitch-a-week! This is a great opportunity to finish our own projects and relax with a fun gathering of sewing friends every Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. - Noon.

Have you noticed the beautiful new Barn Quilts on our shop's exterior? Learn how to paint your favorite quilt block into a barn quilt inspired by the folk art finishing techniques of long ago with designer Abby Hicks! Kits will include a 22? sq. planked board, patterns, paints, brushes, pens and finish. You will come away from this class with a finished barn quilt and the know-how to paint your many quilts on wood.

Wool stitchers and wool rug-hookers, UNITE! Join us, work on your own projects and get help when you need it. This is a group where you can continue wool works in progress, learn new wool techniques and make new wool projects. It's a great opportunity to practice your wool skills, relax, and make new friends who love working with wool just as much as you do. In addition, Marianne will still be teaching her basic wool applique and rug hooking classes.

Sit in on this one hour, free demo to learn all the basics and ask questions with our wool expert. Once you see just how easy wool applique is to do, you will be excited to start your own project!
