Learn everything you need to know to start piecing quilts in this three part class! Tuesday?s class will cover fabric selection, preparation, supplies and proper cutting so you can arrive at Thursday?s class with everything ready to begin sewing! You?ll have time to hone your piecing and pressing skills before taking the rest of your project home to finish over the next week. Come back to the classroom Saturday, March 16th for a finishing follow-up where you can show off your pieced top and learn about finishing details such as batting type, quilting options and binding. When you finish this course you will have completed a fun patchwork throw quilt top! We will be making the Double Delight quilt by Villa Rosa Designs. Purchase a kit here at the shop while supplies last or select your own fabrics according to the pattern. Please note, you must be 16 years of age or more and be familiar with your sewing machine to attend this class.
