BEGINNING PAPER PIECING



Have you ever wanted to learn how to paper piece, but were intimidated to try it on your own? This two-part class is your opportunity to be taught by an experienced teacher, Janet Hansen. Janet will teach you step-by-step everything you need to know to become a confident paper piercer. Paper piecing is a wonderful technique that gives you accurate and precise blocks for beautiful results.  You will be making a traditional Storm at Sea quilt. You will have a choice of three variations "linked hearts" (white, red and pink) "starlight" (white, lt. blue and blue) or "stormy" (ombre' fabric). The quilt measures at 40" square (or can be enlarged).

Paper Patterns will be available to purchase for $2.00

LINKED HEARTS

White 1 3/4 yd.
Red 1 3/4 yd.
Pink 1/2 yd.

STARLIGHT

White 1 3/4 yd.
Blue 1 1/2 yd.
Lt. Blue 1/2yd.

STORMY

White 1 1/2 yd.
Color 2 1/2 yd. (the sample was made using an ombre' fabric, you could use an assortment of fabrics equaling 2 1/2yds.)
