Supplies needed are listed below.

"Vintage Charm" Christmas quilt

  • 54" x 54" quilt - 6 panels of 2" FINISHED EasyPiecing Grid (Cut 2.5" squares) -OR-
  • 41" x 41" quilt - 6 panels of 1.5" FINISHED EasyPiecing Grid (Cut 2" squares) -OR-
  • 27" x 27" quilt - 6 panels of 1" FINISHED EasyPiecing Grid (Cut 1.5" squares)

Fabric Supplies:

  • ½ yard of 7 different fabrics or scraps to equal. (Or, a fat quarter of 14 different fabrics.)
  • ½ yard of black for chain.

Pattern available in the "Quilts For Kids" book available for purchase at CW.

Pre-cutting tips: The quilt fabric yardage is broken down to 6 colors plus a chain color (black in my sample).

For 6 colors, there is an average of 115 squares each.

You can cut 40-60 squares of each color to get you started, and 116 chain (black) squares.

In addition to the 7 (or 14) fabrics, I suggest adding a few more colors for your blocks--using fat quarters or scraps. Or, have a little extra yardage of your 6 colors. If one color is overused, you may run out before you are finished piecing your quilt.
