Join Jen and Lexi for an exciting 30 minute Cake Mix & Cupcake Mix demonstration where we will take you through the process from beginning to end. Then we'll spend the remaining 2 1/2 hours practicing at the sewing machine. You'll come away with a few finished blocks to get you started on a scrumptious Cake Mix Quilt of your choice!

Simply choose a Cake Mix pattern, grab your recipe papers, and then:
1. Sew on the dotted lines
2. Cut on the solid lines
3. Remove the easy-tear paper
...and bon appetit! You're on your way to beautiful quilt blocks!

CLASS SUPPLIES:

• Cake Mix Recipe pattern or book of your choice. We recommend the Cake Mix Quilt Book or Mix It Up! book or you'll find a variety of free Cake Mix patterns on Moda's website found here.
• Cake Mix (10")or Cupcake Mix (5") Recipe that corresponds to your pattern. If you're unsure which you would like to start with, we'll have some demo pieces for you to try in class first.
• Sewing Machine
• Cotton Thread
• Rotary Cutter
• Ruler (at least 16" in length for Cake Mix, or 8" for Cupcake Mix)
• Seam Ripper and other basic sewing necessities
