Afraid it's just too late to get that quilt top quilted before Christmas? Earlier this week in our social media, I mentioned that today, Friday December 14th, is the last day to bring in your quilt tops for machine quilting service before Christmas. I'm here to say YOU STILL HAVE A CHANCE! We want to do whatever we can to help you have that quilt ready to wrap and put under the tree, even if it's next week before you can bring it in. Bring your quilt top in as soon as you can and we'll do our best to squeeze you in. Our quilters have kept their machines humming to stay on top of the holiday rush and are doing a fabulous job! They're telling me chances are very good they can help you get your quilt "home for the holidays."
Buttermilk Basin has done it again with her Chalk It Up Series of seasonal wool applique projects. This one finishes at 16" x 20" and looks great framed as shown here. We love the mix of felted wool bordered by cotton piecing and those mini buttons are the cutest touch. Vintage Christmas at it's best available now at the shop.
Christmas Themed Fabric 30% Off
We still have some great Christmas fabrics available at the shop from designers like Fig Tree, Bonnie & Camille, Lewis & Irene and Emily Herrick Designs! The best part is, all Christmas themed fabric yardage is now 30% off the regular retail price!
Doesn't this quilt look like sparkling ornaments? Emily Herrick designed the Shiny Brite quilt to feature her Rustique Winter fabric collection from Michael Miller Fabrics.
To the right you'll notice a stack of smiling snowmen. Frosty Mugs is one of our best selling winter wool applique projects! Designed by Threads that Bind, this 11" x 40" wall hanging makes a great beginner wool applique project!
We have patterns and kits in stock for both of these projects at the shop! We think kits make fabulous gifts for quilty friends!
We just received a shipment of gorgeous new threads! Marianne Michaels had the upcoming Sue Spargo Fresh Cut block of the month in mind when she ordered these unique embellishment threads but they would add glorious texture and interest to any wool project!
