Bring on the Christmas Cheer! Holiday shopping time is here!
It's time to untangle the lights, put up the tree and collect those presents to tuck underneath. The holidays are officially here and boy, are we ready for some Christmas cheer! I've seen rumors online that a certain Elf may be staying on his shelf due to quarantine after being exposed to Covid-19 but thank heaven Santa and his elves at the North Pole are social distancing pros 364 days of the year! Christmas is coming on schedule and that means it's crunch time for us quilters to wrap up those holiday sewing projects. Let us help! We can start with our Small Business Saturday Sale tomorrow! The Quilt Shop and Mercantile will be open tomorrow, Saturday, November 28th from 10:00am - 5:00pm where we encourage you to shop small, shop local this season with some great deals! We're kicking off our annual gift card special tomorrow! Purchase a gift card valued at $50.00 or more and receive a coupon for a FREE YARD OF FABRIC! One coupon per customer. This offer is available in store or by phone. Give us a call to purchase a gift card over the phone and we'll ship it to you along with the coupon for a minimal shipping fee. Give the coupon as a bonus with your gift card or keep it as a treat for yourself (wink, wink, we'll never tell).
You'll find darling holiday decor and unique gift ideas for everyone on your list at the Quilter's Mercantile! We'd love to show you our favorite ideas. You'll find gifts for mom, dad, baby, the neighbors and of course your best quilting friends at the Merc! We'll even help you package them up. Stop in for a visit to see what's new! Be sure to grab a sweet treat while your there, then head across the parking lot to the quilt shop where all Christmas fabric yardage will be 20% off! You'll find holiday collections from Coriander Quilts, Fig Tree & Co., Urban Chiks, Ruby Star Society, Henry Glass, and Freespirit. We're loving the new Yuletide line by Tim Holtz! It's classic Christmas with Tim's signature knack for vintage vibes and it's 20% off tomorrow only!
Step into our wool department for some festive handwork projects that celebrate the season. From All Through the Night comes this 23" square Let it Snow wall quilt. The pattern includes a preprinted background ready for you to applique felted wool details! The Christmas Cheer Banner, also by All Through the Night comes the same way! Simply cut out the preprinted background shapes and embellish with a few simple wool applique pieces and buttons to give dimension. They would make for a fast finish to add to your holiday decor or a unique gift for a friend who loves handwork. Or how about a kit for a clever "naughty or nice" pillow? Inspire some laughter this season with this reversible pillow project by Bareroots. Which list will you be on this year?
Of course, we have some darling Christmas quilts on display with kits ready for you. Shannon White chose fabrics from the Deer Christmas collection by Urban Chiks for this cute Picnic Time quilt. You'll find it hanging at the Quilter's Mercantile. This pattern is available as a free PDF download from Fat Quarter Shop! Our kit includes fabrics to piece the 59.5" x 77.5" top and binding as well as the free pattern for $104.99.
