The next Curated by Corn Wagon bundle is here! Meet Sara!

We're overdue for another Curated by Corn Wagon bundle! This Corn Wagon gal just might be the sweetest person you've ever met. Sara Anderson was born and raised right here in Springville, Utah. She's a hometown Red Devil through and through! Her adventures in sewing began at age 12 when her Aunt Phyllis helped her and her cousin make matching 4th of July outfits. All she wanted for Christmas that year was a sewing machine. For years she made mostly clothing; prom dresses, kids clothes and the like. While she made her first quilt in her teenage years, Sara really got into quilting about 25 years ago and has been hooked ever since.

Even though her husband, Morgan, was also raised here in Springville, it took moving away for college at BYU Hawaii for them to meet! Together they now have two sons and three daughters, none of which sew, but they enjoy many other hobbies together including skiing, biking, and horseback riding. Sara loves to travel and says her happy place, aside from her sewing room of course, is in the mountains or near the ocean, where she finds peace. In her "other life" she owned and operated a medical billing company for 20 years! Having now retired, she loves having more time to quilt. Here at the shop you'll find her buzzing about, keeping us organized in the notions department and helping our quilting friends with her gracious smile. "I love working at the Corn Wagon because I love the wonderful customers and other employees."

Sara's Lucky 13 fat quarter bundle reflects her affinity for delicate floral designs in happy colors. She started with a few favorites by Bonnie & Camille of Moda and added a mix of classic stripes, gingham and small prints. You can't go wrong with that equation! It's a perfect formula for a quilt as sweet as Sara is kind. Stop in the shop and pick up this next collectable bundle for $39.99 while supplies last and be sure to give Sara a wave while you're here!

We're putting the new Pillow of the Month for July out a few days early so you'll have time to whip this one up before the 4th! Natalie Smith chose just the right red, white and blue solid for some stars and stripes pillow perfection. Anyone else getting some Captain America vibes with this one? Kits for this months 18" x 18" pillow cover include the pattern by Ella+Charming as well as fabrics for the pillow front and back for $24.99. Pillow insert and optional zipper not included. As always, this month's pattern is available as a PDF only from cornwagonquilts.com for $4.99 so you can collect them all year long!

Also pictured above, Let There Be Peace is a
whimsical, primitive, and patriotic 9" X 9" design by Jerome Thomas.  A peace dove carries a flag, spreading harmony across the land.  This project is a "Quick Stitch" wool applique with only fourteen pieces. It's a multi-faceted design with many uses. It would be so sweet stitched onto a little pillow.
