In last week's newsletter, I did my best to get you in the mood for autumn. Come to find out, you didn't need any help at all. Fall fabrics are flying off the shelf! Not to worry! We have plenty more projects in store to help you finish out the summer and roll smoothly into the coming season. Here's a little "Fall Follow-Up" to last week's showcase with more autumn goodness that's new to the shop. If you missed our previous email, you can check it out here or visit our newsletter archive on our website anytime!
You might recognize the charcoal and cheddar Round Up quilt I shared with you last week, but I thought I'd give you a little peek at how pretty she looks in the shop. It's just one of 12 beautiful projects you'll find in the new Rustic Gatherings book by Primitive Gatherings. This book was designed by Lisa Bongean to feature quilts made using her latest fabric collection of the same name and we are smitten.
Rustic Gatherings prints are a timeless representation of everything autumn should be. The warmth of gathering round the hearth to savor harvest and home. You'll find them on our website and in-store now. You might have noticed the wonderful quilt draped on the bench in the photo above made from this line... Suzanne Jackman of Splendid Speck put together this 50" x 50" wall quilt by following her Louisa quilt pattern and simply modifying the size by making only four star blocks. The result is a striking addition to your autumn decor that you'll be eager to showcase season after season! The Fall Louisa Kit includes the complete quilt pattern and yardage from the Rustic Gatherings collection (as shown below) for piecing the top and binding for $79.99. It's sized perfectly for a generously proportioned table topper too!
Another long awaited autumn collection to just hit the shop; Dawn on the Prairie by Fancy That Design House is HERE! What will you make with this gorgeous line?
But, wait! Summer's not over yet! There are still plenty of sunshiny days ahead and the Dayna Quilt, pieced by Kathe Torgerson and quilted by Dorene Cole, feels like a day at the beach. It's made using a Layer Cake of bold prints from the Reverie collection by Ruby Star Society. White on white background with navy micro-stripe binding allows each fabric to really shine! Kathe was delighted when the pink and orange leopards popped up in a few of the star blocks. A happy surprise! Kit includes Layer Cake and yardage for piecing the 60" x 60" quilt top and binding. Pattern book, Did Someone Say Cake? by Moda Bake Shop included! You're going to love every quilt in this fabulous book catered to quilting with Layer Cakes. It's now out of print, so this is a great way to get it while you can! Find kits and even a bit of yardage available online and in-store!
Another ray of absolute sunshine, the newest Palette Pick Fat Quarter Bundle from Robert Kaufman was curated by Satomi Quilts! A delightful blend of Kona Solids and Essex Wovens create this stash builder, colored like a Malibu sunset.
You'll even find a bit of sparkle in the mix!
