Quilting Goals for 2024: Learn new techniques, hone your skills, make more quilts, and meet new friends at the Corn Wagon Too Schoolhouse. Suzanne & Lynette's Piecing Club is an excellent way to to accomplish all of the above. We're always adding more to our calendar and we have some exciting things coming for the new year so be sure to visit our online class list and calendar often to see what's new. There you'll find project photos, instructor bios, supply lists and of course the chance to register conveniently on the web. You'll also find project samples on display now at the quilt shop! From beginner-friendly projects to intermediate and advanced clubs, there's always room for YOU to learn something new at Corn Wagon Too!
Suzanne & Lynette's Piecing Club
The Circle City Sampler from Material Girl Quilts will challenge you in the best way! Two fun teachers will guide you with the tried and true skills you've already learned, plus teach you new techniques you will use with more advanced quilt patterns. With Lynette and Suzanne's unique perspectives and in-class sewing time, you will have so much fun piecing this modern sampler quilt!
For this club, you get to choose your own fabrics to create a version of this quilt that is truly your own. It's a fantastic stash buster! The version above was made by Lynette Christensen using a mix of prints in a controlled warm color palette. The version below was made by Suzanne Jackman using an energetic combo of solids.
Isn't it fun to see how different fabrics entirely change the feel of the same pattern?
In Suzanne & Lynette's Piecing Club, you will come to the Schoolhouse for two-hour sessions for 8 weeks. $125.00 class fee covers all 8 class periods. Pattern and supplies required are sold separately. The dates are Jan. 10, Jan. 24, Feb. 7, Feb. 21, Mar. 6, Mar. 20, Apr. 10, & Apr. 24, with options to come either from 3:00 - 5:00 pm or 6:00 - 8:00 pm on those dates. Once you register for a time, you will need to come at that time, unless another arrangement is made with the teachers.
As with all classes, you can enjoy 15% off class supplies!
Classes at the Corn Wagon Quilt Co. are held in-person at our new, state-of-the-art Schoolhouse at Corn Wagon Too, located directly behind the Quilt Shop. You'll love sewing in this beautiful space! All class supplies are 15% off to those registered and you'll receive 15% off regular price items purchased on the day of your class at Corn Wagon Quilt Co.
