Celebrate Local Quilt Shop Day with our Essentials Sale!
Local Quilt Shop Day is a worldwide event designed to raise awareness of the importance of independent quilt shops to the local economy and creative community. It is a day for consumers and retailers to celebrate the artistic pursuits of quilters, sewists, fabric enthusiasts, and crafters everywhere and to support the local quilt shops that make it all possible. This event is held annually on the fourth Saturday in January which means TOMORROW we have reason to celebrate!
Wherever you may live, your local quilt shop may be planning to celebrate the day with special events. Contact them to find out more about their plans and ask them how you can get involved! We're celebrating with a sale!
We want to thank YOU for your support by offering a Quilter's Essentials Sale! It takes the right tools to make your quilt journey one of success so we're discounting all of our notions, books and patterns 20% off tomorrow, Saturday, January 27th. Come in and ask our employees what their favorite must-have notions are. Pick up the latest patterns and books and see what's new while you're here.
Online shoppers can use coupon code "ESSENTIALS" at checkout TODAY & TOMORROW to receive 20% off notions, books and patterns on our website!
We can't celebrate Local Quilt Shop Day without sharing our newest quilt on display. Cymoni Whatcott used the charming Dottie collection by Denyse Schmidt to piece the McNeills Quilt by Emma Jean Jansen and we are in LOVE. You've likely seen McNeills on social media in a variety of fabric combos. This version carries some vintage character, making the blocks an authentic nod to the past but keeping up with more modern vibes. Our kit includes fabrics as shown for piecing the 60" x 72" quilt top and binding as well as the versatile, fat-quarter friendly, McNeills Quilt pattern for $156.99.
