I LOVE FABRIC Sale Tomorrow 02/03/24! Plus links to FREE quilt ideas, all in the name of LOVE!
Shout it from the rooftops, "I LOVE FABRIC!" Passion for quilting is no joke and neither is fabric obsession. Sewing, indeed, has our heart. With Valentine's Day fast approaching, let's kick off February with our I LOVE FABRIC Sale! Saturday, February 3rd, we're taking 20% off our selection of Valentines Day Fabric yardage. Online shoppers use code ILOVEFABRIC on 02/03/24. We're taking it a step further in-store and including any fabric, kit or precuts that contain RED! Believe me when I say, that includes quite a lot...
...For example, the XOXO collection by April Rosenthal. LOVE! The Sweet & Simple pattern you see here is made using a Layer Cake and a bit of background yardage. It's perfect for the XOXO Layer Cake and we just happen to have a few in-stock! Check out our full selection of Valentine's Prints here.
And what will you make with these lovely fabrics? We have some ideas to share and the best news is they are free patterns with online tutorials! How many of you saw Moda Lissa (Lissa Alexander) making this adorable Hugs and Kisses quilt on social media this week? All the heart eyes go out to this happy project! Lissa has a great tutorial on her blog (modalissa.com), with the option to download free instructions. You should definitely check it out! Here's a little close up of her work in progress. Easy blocks that would be darling in solids or scrappy prints!
Last week we shared a cute Valentine wall hanging made by Carmen Geddes using her EasyPiecing Grid. Well, here's another sweetheart of a quilt whose layout guide is currently free on her website tensisters.com. Rose is a Rose is one of those cool quilts that looks like classic needlepoint. Using the EasyPiecing Grid for a pixelated project like this makes keeping track of a complicated layout, well, easy to piece.
You'll find several Valentine themed layouts at tensisters.com and we just stocked up on EasyPiecing supplies so you can get started right away! Wondering how the grid works? Watch our tutorial on our YouTube channel featuring Heather Dunn. It's a short and sweet lesson that applies to any EasyPiecing pattern. Be sure to subscribe and follow along for more fun from Corn Wagon Quilt Co.!
