Short and Sweet -- We're at a Retreat!

Keeping it short and sweet this week, because we're at a quilting retreat! It's the first of two retreats we're excited to attend as vendors this winter. Quilty Friends Retreats meet annually at Ruby's Inn at Bryce Canyon and I'm telling you, it's one that should be on your bucket list. Four days of great classes, inspiring trunk shows, quilting vendors (that's us!), lots of food and of course, sewing, sewing, SEWING. Here we are (the triplets) at this year's booth. If you happen to be one of the lucky retreaters attending in March, we look forward to seeing you there!
When I tell my non-quilter friends I'm off to a retreat, they look confused and ask what we do there. I start by telling them what we don't do... We don't do dishes or laundry. We don't rush on errands or to appointments. We don't worry about all the everyday tasks that keep us from our favorite pastime. We pack up our sewing things and leave our cares behind for a day or two (or three or four...). It's glorious. It's therapy. It's bonding time with quilters who understand our need to just sew. It's inspiring, rejuvenating and downright fun.
Not sure where to go for this kind of dedicated quilting time? Round up your quilting posse and book one of three retreat rooms at Corn Wagon Too. Just look at this beautiful space waiting for your sewing festivities to begin! We have everything you need to set up your sewing stations and host your own sewing retreat. BONUS: it's steps away from the quilt shop and you get a discount on your purchases while retreating with us! Take a look at all the amenities and get info on pricing and even take a look at our rental contract here. You can even view our availability calendar here. Did you know we now have a lift to the upper rooms so there's no need to haul heavy machines up the stairs? Call the shop to reserve your retreat room today!
2024 Saturday Sampler UPDATE!
If you are a member of our Saturday Sampler BOM, please check your email inbox (and spam and trash, just in case...) We have sent you an important update regarding kit pick-up for February -- which begins tomorrow! If you didn't receive the email update, you can find it on our website under the Saturday Sampler listing here. We look forward to seeing you (and your pretty, finished blocks) at the shop in the near future! Be sure to check out the new YouTube tutorial!

Sentiment is defined as an attitude, thought, or judgment colored or prompted by feeling or emotion. What emotion does this quilt evoke? Serenity, love, peace and joy may come to mind. Julie Hancock pieced this traditional quilt, designed by Kaye England featuring her Sentiments fabric collection for Wilmington Prints. Our kit includes the pattern and yardage (including that pretty little border strip) for piecing the 63" x 75" quilt top and binding as shown for $158.99. E2E quilting by our own Dorene Cole.
