School's out for summer! After much Pomp and Circumstance, we have officially entered the summer vacation period. Now what? After weeks of projects and programs, field days and finals, it's finally time for a break. We're here for it! Get your calendar out. Let's take a look at some important dates:

S.A.B.L.E. stands for "Stash Accumulated Beyond Life Expectancy." It's real. We know from experience and we want to help! 30 local quilters will be setting up shop in our parking lot, Saturday June 1st with portions of their stash they are ready to part with. Come see what treasures you may find while helping fellow quilters de-stash. Come prepared, rain or shine, with cash or venmo for a fun day of open air fabric shopping from 9:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. Stop in our Schoolhouse for some great Corn Wagon clearance deals. Then pop into the quilt shop for a special Stuff-a-Bag Sale. Catch the best deals of the quilting season at our Spring S.A.B.L.E. Sale!

Calling all Springville quilters! Let's show 'em what we've got! Submissions are now being accepted for the Art City Days Quilt Show. This annual show is open to all ages, skill levels and quilting styles, featuring home town quilt makers as part of the Art City Days celebration! Speaking of Art City Days, the Grand Parade route passes directly in front of the quilt shop on Saturday, June 8th. For this reason we will open at noon that day and remain open until 5:00 p.m. This will affect Saturday Sampler kit pickup. Please plan accordingly.

Looking for something fun for your budding sewist to do this summer?

Suzanne Jackman & Kris Money are teaming up to lead Camp Sew Fun to make sure everyone gets plenty of instruction and support. Sign up for 3 days of sewing (and fun!) where kids will be able to make an awesome 65" x 76" quilt top of their very own! This summer we will be making the Peanut Butter Quilt by Then Came June -- a FREE pattern (available here). This class is for beginners, ages 8 and up. Our young quilters MUST know how to turn on their machine, thread it, and sew a 1/4" seam. All supplies must be purchased separately and are available at Corn Wagon Quilt Company.

Choose from two different sessions:

July 8th, 9th & 11th, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. OR  July 15th, 16th & 18th, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.

*A limited number of kits are available for this class! Come into the shop and ask to see both versions, like the two shown above!

Handwork Club
Every Tuesday, 10:00am - Noon
This delightful weekly club is for anyone who would like to work on a hand stitching project while learning new hand stitching skills. It's a great chance to finish our own projects and relax with a fun gathering of sewing friends. No fee to attend. Simply come and join us!

Time Out at the Wagon (Open Sew)
Every Wednesday, 10:00am to 4:00pm
Put yourself in Time Out at the Wagon in our School House located directly behind the quilt shop! At times we all need time out from housework, phone calls, and everyday responsibilities. Bring your current sewing project to “Time Out at the Wagon” and do just that. Marsha is looking forward to being in Time Out and hopes lots of you will join her.
