Wrapping Up 12 Days of Kit-mas -- Christmas Quilts Galore -- and a new YouTube tutorial!

We've officially entered crazy Christmas rush time... We Corn Wagon gals were visiting the other day about how easily we become weighed down with all of the Christmas to-dos and we agree that's not how it's meant to be. Tis the season to be jolly! Right? But what's the best way to de-stress and just enjoy the season? My advice is, give yourself the valuable gift of time and space. Each year I try to give myself some grace to let go of one big task I expect of myself -- this year it's Christmas cards. I love to send and receive them, but this year, I'm taking a break. And what will I do with the time I would have invested there? Just breathe. Allow myself some peaceful time to reflect. And where do I do this best? Well, if I can't be in the great outdoors, it's best accommodated in my sewing room. Meditation just flows easier to the sound of my humming machine. The creative process is a gift in itself and carving out a few moments for some merry making -- you know, in the quilty sense -- brings a unique peace I can carry through the rest of my holiday traditions. So turn on the Christmas playlist and stitch something that brings YOU some holiday cheer!
