NEW Year, NEW Fabric, NEW Quilts + Last Chance to get in on 2 NEW BOMs for 2025!

Welcome 2025! Where shall we begin? Let's consider the quilt making process. We buy the pretty fabric. We cut the pretty fabric into little scraps. We sew the pretty scraps back together. Yes, it could be argued that it's the definition of insanity, until of course you see the result. Then we're SURE it's insanity. Just kidding. The result is what inspires us to start the process all over again. The result isn't just the finished quilt (although that's pretty dang satisfying) -- it's the joy of the creative process, playing with all the pretty fabric, having made something with our own hands, and the friends we make along the way -- maybe someone very special we're sharing it with. Just thinking about it makes me want to jump into the new year by beginning the process once again. So, let's start from the beginning with the part where we buy the fabric.
New fabric collections are pouring in for the new year. Anyone else anxiously awaiting the new Kaffe Fassett x The Original Morris collection? The Blush Colorway (above) just arrived! It's the timeless sophistication of William Morris with the rush of saturated color Kaffe Fassett is known for. There's just nothing else like it!
Another exciting new arrival; we're in love with Monaluna's newest release (below). Under the Canopy takes you on a gentle stroll through the woods surrounded by flora and fauna delights. Pairing these prints with Monaluna's new Moonlit Essentials makes for an easy fabric pull. These fantastic new fabrics are printed on high-density organic cotton by Windham fabrics. I can't wait to cut them up and sew them back together!
That brings us to the next part of the process, cutting up the fabric. But how? What shall we make? New quilt patterns and kits are here to show you how it's done. Marianne Michaels just finished piecing the Jessie quilt (below) by Splendid Speck using fabrics from the bright and beautiful Maeve collection by Crystal Manning. We have kits as well as patterns, so you can start cutting now and have it finished for sunny springtime.
Keeping our sights on sewing for spring, why not cut into the pretty fabric you'll find inside this keepsake box from Riley Blake Designs? Kris Money enjoyed piecing the Primrose Star Quilt (below) by Amanda Niederhauser featuring her Stay Wild fabric collection. Classic star blocks show off pretty pastels in this 52" x 59" quilt. Geisha E2E quilting by Cheryl Wallin finishes it off.

Cali & Co. Mystery BOM: Something new is coming your way for 2nd Wednesday 2025 and it all begins this Wednesday! Beginning in January 2025, we will be making the Cali & Co. Mystery BOM by Corey Yoder following her monthly blog instructions. The fabrics featured in this quilt are from Corey's new Cali & Co. collection and, oh boy, are they the happiest little calicos -- get it? Cali & Co. -- you've ever seen! This project is appropriate for confident beginners as well as more advanced sewists. Watch a brief introduction from Corey for a preview here: https://corianderquilts.com/cali-co-2025-mystery-bom/
Our longest running BOM club, the 2nd Wednesday Club has roots in our earliest days of business more than 20 years ago. Some have been with us since the beginning, others are new members, all are friends with a common love for quilt-making. By participating in a block of the month program, this 12-month club focuses on making a new quilt each year with special pricing on the project kit. Fun extras include: on-time drawings, finishing and sharing UFO projects, sew-and-tell and yummy treats!
If you are unable to attend, but would love to follow along on Corey's blog, we are offering the full kit outside of the 2nd Wednesday Club for $164.99 here.

Silver Celebration Mystery Sampler BOM: Can you believe our NEW Corn Wagon Mystery Sampler begins NEXT SATURDAY, January 11th! We have just 10 spots remaining so jump right in! This year's design by Ramona Sorensen was inspired by the Silver Anniversary (25 years!) of Corn Wagon being in business. We're taking things back to our roots with traditional prints and a sophisticated neutral, silvery taupe color palette. Through this 10-month program beginning January 2025, you will make 25 traditionally pieced blocks (similar to the one shown above) into a stunning 74" x 82" quilt top, designed exclusively for Corn Wagon Quilt Co. You'll learn different ways to piece familiar block elements so it's a great project for confident beginners as well as seasoned makers. Click here to learn more about how you'll have the chance to receive your monthly kits FREE.
FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER... We're extending the invitation to our friends from afar (more than 50 miles from Corn Wagon Quilt Co., within the U.S.) to take advantage of the chance to receive free kits shipped to their address. Contact Jen Tanner at the shop (801-491-3551 ext. 2) to confirm your location and contact information. We'd love to have you celebrate with us!
