#QUILTGOALS... We see a stunning quilt made by a prolific maker and what do we say? QUILT GOALS! Whether intended as a compliment or an actual statement of what we aspire to accomplish, it sets me to thinking about my current quilt reality. What are my "quilt goals?" Do I have "quilt goals?" This year the answer is a resounding YES! My first quilt goal for 2025 is to not over do it -- not set the bar so high that I loose my sewjo by June -- not tell myself my sewing space must be organized to an Insta-worthy degree -- not overbook myself with all the amazing BOMs, classes and retreats that catch my eye. Oops! I may have already flubbed that last part. You may be thinking, "Already, Jen?" Yeah, I've already committed to the Silver Sampler Mystery (IT STARTS TOMORROW) and the Jen Kingwell Pick a Petal BOM (starting in June) and a rather persnickety sample for the Shop Hop (coming up April 25th - May 3rd) and the Sewbots Club and two retreats... I better cool my quilting jets if I plan to reach my goal of not over doing it. Oh, but just look at the fun new things here at Corn Wagon to tempt me!

Averi Reilly pieced this fantastically modern quilt. As described by the designer, "The Wayfinder quilt represents the idea that, in a broad sense, we never really “arrive”; we are always navigating and re-orienting ourselves toward new directions. With this in mind, the design seeks to remind us to live in and appreciate each point on this long, winding path - not just the destination."  From Utah based pattern writer Brooke Shankland of Eudaimonia Studio, comes one of many unique designs. Our kit includes the Wayfinder pattern as well as solid fabrics as shown for piecing the 62" x 62" quilt top and printed stripe binding. This pattern is also available for purchase as a PDF on our website!  Can we take a moment to appreciate the darling dress Averi made using Ruby Star Society 108" sateen backing fabric?
