How can March already be here? January and February feel like a blur with all the quilty excitement around here! Kicking off our new Silver Celebration Mystery Sampler, vending at two Quilty Friends Retreats, a slew of new spring arrivals at the the shop, prepping for the Utah Shop Hop (it's just around the corner)... things are really hopping around here. When you walk through our door, you'll see we're sporting our best green as St. Patrick's day approaches -- don't wanna get pinched, after all.

Jen Kingwell's Chain of Fools design is an excellent way to showcase a gorgeous range of Kaffe Collective prints saturated in analogous, cool greens and blues with accents in green solids, as Marianne Michaels did here. The quilt finishes at 56" x 64". Kit includes yardage as shown for piecing the quilt top and binding for $117.99.

March feels like the perfect time to introduce the new rainbow of Kaffe Fassett wovens that literally just came through our door. I mean we're pulling bolts out of the boxes as we speak, so you may have to give us a day to get them on the shelves and online but they're here and they're glorious!

Green can be seen in our wool department too! This beautiful Star Penny Mat by Primitive Gatherings, made by Marianne Michaels showcases magical, handstitched texture in a traditional wool penny design. Finishing at 19" x 20," it would make a gorgeous addition to your table center piece. Kits are available for $73.99 and include the pattern, hand-dyed, felted wool for pennies, black wool for background and cotton flannel for backing. Marianne recommends using sticker dots to simplify cutting out all those little circles. Brilliant!

Here's a sneak peek of the new Lollies fabric also by Jen Kingwell that will be included in monthly kits along with acrylic templates for each block style. Here's Marianne's first block -- hand-pieced, mind you! 

You have the option of joining the 6-month program and receiving the monthly patterns and templates for $24.99/mo. to use with your own fabric choices, as Marianne has done in the block above, OR you can opt for the fabric kits to be included for $54.99/mo.
