Here's a whole lotta Ruby Star goodness all in one picture! Where to start? Radical Cassettes by Love Sew Modern was pieced by Kristy Johnson using a selection of prints from the Carousel collection by Ruby Star Society. The Radio Reading Pillow made by Suzanne Jackman can be found in Love Quilting and Patchwork magazine Issue #145. The Frankie quilt next to it was designed and pieced by Suzanne Jackman using Juicy fabrics also from Ruby Star Society. Be sure to catch the adorable "Follow the Sun," Quippy Zippy pouch designed by Jen Kingwell and made by Kathy Shinners.
The stunning Alaska quilt by Laundry Basket Quilts was pieced by Suzanne Adams and quilted by Chelsea Hilton with Lucy in the Sky on repeat. It uses a Creative Grids specialty ruler to simplify all those sparkling angles. Kits, patterns & rulers are here for you!
Hop on the party bus for a Magical Mystery Tour! Cheryl Wallin pieced and quilted On the Road by Satomi Quilts. You could say, "she's got a ticket to ride." I spy some kits there, so you can jump on board too!
Gotta throw in a Union Jack quilt for our Beatles theme! I'm sure you've seen (and loved) this design by Amy Smart, Diary of a Quilter. Lexi Lamb put together a scrappy mix of favorite prints to piece this version. We have a limited supply of fat quarter starter bundles we pulled so you can create your own similar design.
And finally (Ringo, can we have a drum roll, please?), it's time to reveal our exclusive 2025 Shop Hop quilt! Designed by Ramona Sorensen, Lucy's Diamond Sky features rows of traditionally pieced stars and diamonds. We chose to work with Art Gallery Pure Solids in Suzy Quilts' signature palette that lends a subtle 60's vintage vibe. You'll receive this pattern free when you visit the shop between April 25th and May 3rd and we have kits available while supplies last! Sew-It-All Weekend - May 30 & 31We want all of our Sew-It-All friends to join us as we Sew-It-All Weekend in May! Your registration fee includes lunch both days so you can sew non-stop at our retreat center. You will also receive a Sew-It-All pass good for exclusive discounts at the shop during the event! Bring ANY sewing project that needs finishing and we will be there to lend advice and help you trouble shoot. With two whole days dedicated to finishing projects you really can be a Sew-It-All. SALE in our Corn Wagon Too parking lot! Rent a parking stall for $25 and set up shop 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. with fabric, patterns, kits, notions - - anything quilting related that you're willing to part with. You set your own prices and manage your own transactions for your own Destash Sale! You can even get a group of friends who are also affected by S.A.B.L.E. syndrome and share a space!
