Sales and celebrations are coming your way! Summer sunshine brings the excitement of outdoor gatherings, community celebrations, patriotic holidays and family fun. In our corner of the quilting world it signals some of the best sales, quilt shows and, oddly enough, Halloween and Christmas fabric. We have all of the above happening right here at Corn Wagon.

Let's start with our Stuff-A-Bag Sale happening tomorrow, 05/31.
Another fifth Saturday has rolled around. That means it's time to bring your reusable cotton Corn Wagon bag into the shop and "stuff" it full of all the things you need (and want) for 20% off! Make us proud! See how much you can fit. You might be surprised! Don't have a bag? No worries. You can buy one for $8 and reuse it every 5th Saturday for the same great sale.

See that cute Halloween fabric we "stuffed" in there? It's a new line called Trick or Treat by Lisa Audit for Riley Blake Designs. We're loving the inclusion of blue with the traditional orange and black; and oh, those little trick-or-treaters in costume are adorable. 

Next up, S.A.B.L.E. Sale! 25 local quilters need your help destashing. They'll set up shop in our parking lot Saturday June 7th from 9 a.m. till 2 p.m. ready to offer goods from their "Stash Accumulated Beyond Life Expectancy." Bring the whole gang and find fabric treasures and stitching wonders at one of our favorite events of the year. We are sad to say, the pizza truck will not be able to attend as planned, but as luck would have it, Springville has lots of food and drink options close by. Corn Wagon will have its usual special clearance section set up in the Schoolhouse. No fee to enter. We'll be ready rain or shine. Help us spread the word!

Hey Springville Quilters! Submit to the Art City Days Quilt Show!
Entries are now being accepted for this annual event held during Springville's city celebration. Finished quilts and tops from all skills and ages are welcome. This is a non-juried show.  Other sewing projects such as hand made clothing, bags and rugs will also be accepted. Admission is free for this two day event. The public can view this beautiful collection of quilts and handcrafted items and vote for their favorites. The annual Art City Days Quilt Show is held on Friday and Saturday, June 13th and 14th at Cherry Creek Elementary North Gym (directly behind the museum) 485 South 200 East, Springville, Utah. Come see the quilts, enjoy other community festivities and of course visit us at the Corn Wagon. We're just up the street!

And now, how 'bout some Halloween? The collections are rolling in for Halloween projects (and, dare I say it, Christmas)! It's time to get those quilts started to finish in time and we are HERE FOR IT. I showed you one new line above and it's already disappearing fast. Let's take a gander at two more.

Ready to start sewing something spooky (yet somehow sweet)? We have kits ready for The Web by Lella Boutique. You may recognize her Hey Boo fabrics from her 2024 collection (now extremely hard to come by). This precut friendly quilt was designed by Vanessa Goertzen to highlight the adorable panel that is part of this best-selling line. Our kit includes the pattern, a panel, a Layer Cake of Hey Boo and additional yardage as required for piecing this 71" x 82" quilt top and binding for $194.99. Our quilt, pieced and quilted by Natalie Smith, is on display now at the shop.
