Art City Days is in full swing here in Springville! It's a week full of celebrating our community with traditional festivities and new opportunities to gather. You'll find arts festivals, fun contests, a carnival and market at the park, hot air balloons, fireworks and of course a grand parade.
Speaking of the parade, the shop will open at noon tomorrow (06/14), as we are along the parade route. Because it is a second Saturday, this means it will affect our Mystery Sampler pickup day. Please plan accordingly. We will remain open until 5:00 p.m. and as always, those registered have the following week to bring their finished blocks in to receive June's kit free.
Our favorite part of Art City Days? The Quilt Show, of course! This annual showcase of local talent features quilts made by all ages and skill levels. It's a wonderful chance to celebrate the accomplishments of our fellow makers and gain some inspiration while we're at it. Entry is free and all are welcome. The show runs today 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and tomorrow Noon - 4:00 p.m. at the Cherry Creek North Gym located directly behind the Art Museum at 485 South 200 East. It's only a couple of blocks from the Corn Wagon so be sure to come in and say hello!

Beautiful reproduction prints designed through a collaboration between Riley Blake Designs and Jane Austen's House reflect those in Jane's original collection. Pieces from the new Emma collection as well as some from past collections such as Pride & Prejudice, Jane Austen at Home, and Sense & Sensibility are now on our shelves and in our online shop.
