Join Shelley Taylor for two days of instruction and sewing at our Schoolhouse with two weeks in between for homework. She'll teach you the best methods for completing the popular Tula Tote! WOOL CLASS: HAND-DYEING
Ever wonder where our rich, vibrant selection of wool comes from? Marianne Michaels hand-dyes each piece to create unique colors and textures for wool applique and YOU CAN TOO! Come learn the art of wool dyeing! We will cover the basics: wool selection, what dyes to use and how to get the colors you like. The class will be held at Marianne’s home dyeing studio in Mapleton. No supplies will be needed.
If you would like, you may bring a small piece of wool to dye.

ALTERNATE ENDINGS SHOWCASE WITH DEONN STOTT
Sit in on this informative lecture and showcase with renowned quilt designer, Deonn Stott, following her new book the "Ultimate Binding & Edge-Finishing Guide." Learn her Top Ten (or Twenty) Tips to achieve the ideal binding. Then enjoy a showcase of 16 different "Alternate Ending" samples that Deonn will pass around for a close-up look. From simple solutions to fancy finishes, you'll gain insight into ideas such as pieced binding, specialty fabrics, and binding odd angles and curves. Join us in the Horizon Room at Corn Wagon Too and come away with new ideas and the confidence to give your next quilt a fabulous "alternate ending."
