Bone-ita is back just in time for Halloween! When she first arrived, her jaw dropped (almost right off) at the sight of our finished Silver Celebration Mystery Sampler. 25 beautiful blocks commemorating 25 years of quilting at Corn Wagon have come together over the past 10 months and it's been a delight to see everyone's progress. Bone-ita was sad to have missed out while she's been away. 25 years is considered the "silver anniversary" so we chose to work with a sophisticated neutral palette of silvery taupe hues accented by classic black, however this pattern would be wonderful in your own fabric combo or even as a stash busting project! Included in the pattern you will find yardage requirements for our original on-point layout (76" x 83" finished as shown above) as well as a BONUS layout option (75" x 75" finished as shown below)! Bonita fell skull over heels when she discovered the same striking blocks made up in more colorful prints, styled by Suzanne Jackman of Splendid Speck!
She's especially fond of the Sleepy Hollows collection by Amy MacCready for Cloud 9 Fabrics. Ghosts, cats, skeletons and mod autumn florals give a nod to the 60's in spooktacular fashion. High-quality organic cotton isn't scary to sew with at all! Kathe Torgerson pieced this cute Built to Order Table Runner in this line. We have kits, but only a couple left! Bone-ita is also crazy about wool -- especially when we're talking about wooly pumpkins, ravens and black cats -- she can really relate. Autumn seems to be everyone's favorite season to sew with wool so we have stocked up on lots of fun new projects for the season! There's still time to stitch up a wooly jack-o-lantern or two before All Hallows Eve arrives.
And where, you might wonder, does Bone-ita go when Halloween is over? Well, this year she packed her pajamas for our annual P.J. Party Sale!
