Life is good here at The Wagon, thanks to awesome customers like you. Celebrating 26 years of quilting felt especially sweet this year as we welcomed familiar friends and new faces too at the P.J. These Corn Wagon Gals, I've gotta say, make our wagon wheels go round. Each brings their unique talents and tastes to our shop, giving depth and variety to what we offer here. They are a joy to work with (and sew with, I might add). Fabric may bring color and energy to the shop but these smiles are what makes the Corn Wagon a special place to be. 

When Jud and Marsha Harward opened the doors here at Corn Wagon Quilt Co., their beautiful brick building was first home to a quilt shop and bakery, with hopes that it might become a place for community to gather. Our local quilting friends quickly made it a happy place that has grown through the years to include quilters from across the country. Did they imagine their quilt shop would one day fill two nostalgic buildings with not just fabric but services, events, retreats, an online shop and the best customers out there? THANK YOU for helping the Corn Wagon become what it is today. Here's to many more years!

We're so excited about what's in store for 2026! Ramona Sorensen has been hard at work finalizing the fabulous pattern, and the fabrics are beginning to arrive. Soon we'll be cutting kits and we want to make sure your name is on one. Registration is open through December 1, 2025. Read all the details and program rules here. Get wrapped up in flannel this fall! We made sure to stock up on plenty of cozy flannel for the season and have two new flannel quilts for you to fall in love with. Above, we have the Hidden Gems quilt designed by Melissa Milligan for Villa Rosa Designs. The Mercantile Flannel collection designed by Pam Buda is perfect for this traditional quilt. Pieced by Karen Averett, she chose to frame it all with a striking black paisley flannel border. Our kit includes this luscious blend of flannels as well as the pattern and additional instructions for adding the inner and outer border as shown in our sample for piecing this beautiful 58" x 74" quilt top and binding. 


Lynette Christensen pieced the Seasons Change quilt by Coach House Designs using a Layercake of Prairie Gatherings Flannel by Primitive Gatherings for Moda Fabrics. Don't you love the way the colors fade across the quilt like falling leaves? We're already almost out of kits and patterns for this one! We also have yardage from this collection available. Check out our full selection of flannels including a few 108" flannel quilt backings here or stop in to feel how soft these really are while supplies last!
