Natalie Smith will teach this fun, nine-month class, with small-waste cutting instructions, tips for working with solids and prints, and tips on how to align your fabrics so you get the result you want. Each month there will be a pdf of all the tips given in class, a picture of Natalie's blocks, and lots of tips on sewing and making your quilt unique and fun. You can sign up to receive fabric kits with your registration or just patterns and sewing time to work with your own fabric choices.
The 4-hour sewing class at our Schoolhouse will run
January through September,
6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
BONUS: We'll have an free sewing session on October 1st!
DEAR JANE RESOLUTION - SIT & SEW
Set a goal to finish your Dear Jane quilt in 2026! If you took our class from Karen Averett, and would like to set aside some time dedicated to working on your Dear Jane quilt, we invite you to "sit-and-sew" with us here at the Schoolhouse. This unique, pay-as-you-go opportunity gives you flexibility to join us when you can! Wherever you may be in your Dear Jane journey, spend the evening sewing with others who are determined to make big progress on this quilt masterpiece.
This is not a class;
simply time to gather and sew
every 2nd and 4th Thursday
5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
with Karen Averett.
$10 per session when you reserve your seat in advance.
$15 per session when you pay upon arrival.

MINKI KIM BAG OF THE MONTH SERIES
Minki Kim is known for her darling fabric and pattern designs and we're in love with her new bag patterns! So much so that we will be making one a month with instruction from bag-making expert, Shelley Taylor at our Schoolhouse.
Sign up for a three-month session for just $90 and enjoy 3 hours of sewing every 3rd Thursday, 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., January - March, with in-person instruction from Shelley. Please note; Minki Kim will not be attending these classes but all projects will feature her patterns.
For this first session we will make a Travel Case for a Mini Iron, a Flying Geese Pouch and a Weekend Sling Bag; all shown above.
