Dearest Quilty Friends, Hello from Ruby's Inn, Bryce Canyon! We're here for another wonderful Quilty Friends Retreat. It's not just about sewing. It's about learning, sharing, collaborating, giving, and smiling. Oh, the smiling! I ache from laughing. There's just something so special about being surrounded by all these creative souls. We understand each other's madness! When it all wraps up, it's safe to say, a good time was had by all.

Speaking of quilty love... Here's a super simple wall quilt you can whip up this week for Valentine's Day. It's a great project to practice using the EasyPiecing Grid by TenSisters Handicraft and guess what; the guide is currently free on their website here., along with tutorials on how to use the grid for many different projects. It uses just two panels of 2" finished grid and a few 2.5" squares. We have grid in different sizes here at the shop!

Sew-It-All Weekend - Feb 27 & 28

Back home at The Wagon, Geraldine is waiting to greet you at the shop. Kris Money put together just the right colors and textures to make the Geraldine quilt by Penelope Handmade a classic. Our kits include the pattern and yardage required for piecing the 62" x 76" quilt top and binding as shown. Abacus E2E quilting by Chelsea Hilton looks amazing! Here's a closer look:


And about that colorful wool applique piece; Coat of Many Colors is a striking work of wooly art by Primitive Gatherings. A showcase of vibrant hand-dyed wool in a glimmering cathedral window arrangement. Using a buttonhole stitch enhances the edge of each curve. Marianne Michaels worked her wooly magic to hand-dye the wool and stitch the applique on this 18" x 27" mat.
