I am perpetually in awe of the wonders in Utah. While traveling to Bryce Canyon twice this month as a vendor for the Quilty Friends Retreat, we drove a portion of my all-time favorite highway, Scenic By-way 12. It winds through some of Utah's most stunning red rock country where my family has enjoyed many outdoor adventures through the years. There is so much beauty and history to absorb in our great state and I must say quilting is a part of that. It's our heritage and we continue to have a thriving quilter's community. I frequently say how spoiled we are with many local quilt shops, world renowned fabric and pattern designers, quilt shows, retreats and even a quilting fabric manufacturer right here at home. And the inspiration -- Oh! The inspiration! It's all around us just waiting to influence creative minds.
