Can you believe it? We've been shop hopping for 25 years! The theme for 2026 celebrates the Utah Shop Hop's silver anniversary with "The Silver Screen." Each shop will take on a favorite film. And the stars of the show? The quilts of course! Corn Wagon will have The Little Mermaid on the marquee. Discover waves of sewing inspiration from "Up on the Land" and "Under the Sea." Sewing gadgets and gizmos galore... Fabric thing-a-ma-bobs? We've got plenty! Flip your fins on over and make quilting "Part of Your World!"
In our last newsletter I promised a little sneak peek at the treasure trove of quilts that will be on display during the hop. How many wonders can one quilt shop hold? Here's 5 of the 15 new quilts that go along with our theme (and plenty more swimming inbetween)! As for the free pattern we'll be giving out to our customers that week... It's a secret you'll have to stop by to see. Join us where we'll be devotin' full time to sewin' Under the Sea, Friday, April 24th - Saturday, May 2nd (closed Sunday).
If you haven't been to the Utah Shop Hop before, here's information about what you can look forward to and a map to follow:
- 8 days to visit 10 quilt shops, Fri, April 24 - Sat, May 2 (Closed Sundays)
- All stores will be open 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- No fee or passport necessary to participate, simply stop by and join in the fun!
- You do not need to visit every shop to enjoy the benefits, but you won't want to miss any of them.
- Unique "Silver Screen" themes at each shop (We're The Little Mermaid!)
- Exclusive free pattern for you to collect from each shop you visit.
- Each store will have a drawing for 3 prizes (so be sure to visit them all):
- 25 Fat Quarters
- Gift Basket valued at $100
- Gift Card for that shop valued at $250
- An additional ticket will be given to anyone who visits the Logan and Springville shops (that's us)! These tickets will be put in a separate drawing for a $250 gift certificate that can be used in ANY of the shops.
Sew-It-All Weekend - May 15 & 16We want all of our Sew-It-All friends to join us as we Sew-It-All Weekend in May! Your registration fee includes lunch both days so you can sew non-stop at our retreat center. You can also take advantage of 15% off at the shop during the event! Bring ANY sewing project that needs finishing and we will be there to lend advice and help you trouble shoot. With two whole days dedicated to finishing projects you really can be a Sew-It-All. You know we can't close a newsletter without sharing a new quilt! Getting a love letter in the post complete with a pretty stamp is "Happy Mail" indeed! New from Pen+Paper Patterns, our version of the Happy Mail quilt features fabrics from Cloud 9's Cottage Blooms collection paired with a Mahogany colored Ruby & Bee Solid background. Our kit includes the pattern and yardage required to piece the 56" x 64" quilt top and binding. Pieced by Cymoni Whatcott. E2E quilting by Chelsea Hilton.
