We're delighted to host an entirely new kind of BOM featuring 12 "Quick Win" projects by Emily Bailey of Aunt Em's Quilts built around blocks from her new Summer Nights sampler quilt. Party every 2nd Tuesday, 3:30 - 5:30pm here at our Schoolhouse and finish a different block project each time!

Emily relates, "My daughter and son’s girlfriend want to sew but they find a quilt to be daunting.  So I came up with 12 quick and easy sewing projects to appeal to the beginner sewist, giving them a way to succeed without feeling overwhelmed.  Using the blocks in my Summer Nights sampler book you can easily create beautiful items for your home and lifestyle."

Minimal fabric requirements (think scrap busting) and a short time commitment (two-hour class) make these projects an awesome way to practice skills without the overwhelm of committing to an entire quilt. When you finish the 12 Maker's Party classes you'll have the know-how and the pattern to make your own Summer Nights quilt at your own pace.

Your $23.99 registration fee includes the Summer Nights pattern book and holds your place in the monthly class.

$27.99 per month includes monthly "Quick Win" patterns and a two-hour class every 2nd Tuesday 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. beginning in October 2026 with Emily herself here at our Schoolhouse. Other class supplies may be purchased separately at 15% off.

We need a minimum of 8 students for this class to carry so encourage a friend who would like to sign up for the Maker's Party for extra fun!

Sew-It-All Weekend - August 21 & 22

SALE in our parking lot! Rent a parking stall for $25 and set up shop 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. with fabric, patterns, kits, notions - - anything quilting related that you're ready to part with. You set your own prices and manage your own transactions for your own de-stash sale! You can even get a group of friends who are also affected by S.A.B.L.E. syndrome and share a space!  We'll welcome back the wood-fired Pizza Friendzee truck for lunchtime -- YUM!  We'll get the word out!
