Easy Piecing Grid Tote Class

Learn how you can make an adorably functional patchwork tote using just two panels of EasyPiecing Grid by TenSisters Handicraft from THE Carmen Geddes. ONE set of instructions-- FOUR different tote sizes -- ALL based on the grid size you choose! Fun, fast and accurate! Take bag making to a NEW level. Learn an easy zipper technique and machine binding tips.
With a one-hour prep demo two weeks before the five-hour tote class, you'll have time to prepare your grid panels ahead and work on sewing your tote in class. If you are unable to attend the prep demo this Thursday, please let the shop know and Carmen will send you a prep video.

We're delighted to host an entirely new kind of BOM, excellent for beginners, featuring 12 "Quick Win" projects by Emily Bailey of Aunt Em's Quilts featuring blocks from her new Summer Nights sampler quilt. Party every 2nd Tuesday, 3:30 - 5:30pm here at our schoolhouse and finish a different block project each time!
Minimal fabric requirements (think scrap busting) and a short time commitment (two-hour class) make these projects an awesome way to practice skills without the overwhelm of commiting to an entire quilt. When you finish the 12 Maker's Party classes you'll have the know-how and the pattern to make your own Summer Nights quilt at your own pace.
We need a minimum of 8 students for this class to carry so encourage a friend who would like to sign up for the Maker's Party for extra fun!
Fall S.A.B.L.E. Sale

S.A.B.L.E stands for Stash Accumulated Beyond Life Expectancy. It's real. We know from experience and we want to help you out! Saturday, September 26th we are hosting a S.A.B.L.E Sale in our parking lot! Rent a parking stall for $25 and set up shop 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. with fabric, patterns, kits, notions - - anything quilting related that you're ready to part with. You set your own prices and manage your own transactions for your own S.A.B.L.E Sale! You can even get a group of friends who are also affected by S.A.B.L.E. syndrome and share a space! We'll get the word out! You bring the goods!
This fall, we'll welcome the wood-fired Pizza Friendzee truck back -- YUM!
