Moon Cake Quilt Kit

The Moon Cake Quilt only needs one Layer Cake to come to life, and come to life it does! This quilt is a beginner friendly, half square triangle pattern that sews together quickly. Fabrics are from Moonglow by Alexia Marcelle Abegg for Ruby Star Society. Our kit includes the free pattern, the required Layer Cake as well as plum colored binding for piecing the 54" x 54 quilt top.   NOTE: We discovered a mistake in the pattern and found that the finished size actually ends up being around 48" square -- a bit on the small side -- so we chose to add a border, bringing it up to the size noted in the pattern (54" square).  We have included fabric for our added border in this kit.
